Tri-City Loves Our Community

Tri-City Subaru through its participation in Subaru of America's amazing Love Promise program is committed to helping, giving to and engaging with our community. We love and appreciate our customers and we're always looking for new ways to contribute!

Tri-City Subaru Shares The Love

For over 50 years, Tri-City has played an active role in serving our local community. As a New England family dealership, nothing is more important to us. This year Tri-City Subaru in Somersworth, NH has selected End 68 Hours of Hunger as its local charity of choice for Subaru's annual, "Share the Love" campaign.

Tri-City Subaru believes and participates in the philanthropic spirit of Subaru. Partnering with End 68 Hours of Hunger allows Tri-City to actively help put an end to childhood hunger in America, one school at a time! End 68 Hours of Hunger is a private, not-for-profit, effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive at school on Friday and the free breakfast they receive at school on Monday. 100% of every single dollar contributed to End 68 Hours of Hunger goes directly to the purchase of food. If you would also like to support End 68 Hours of Hunger, you can observe the list of the most frequently donated food items that you can donate anytime.

Nationally, the Share The Love program is entering its tenth year and is hoping to exceed $115 million donated throughout the life of the program to charitable organizations across the country. Customers have the choice of directing their donation to a national charity or to a hometown charity selected by the local Subaru retailer. The National Charities include ASPCA, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meals On Wheels America, the National Park Foundation and in the case of Tri-City Subaru, End 68 Hours of Hunger will be listed as their hometown charity of choice.

Tri-City Subaru Loves the Earth

Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it. Here at Tri-City Subaru, we are committed to making a big difference in protecting and enhancing the environment that surrounds us. That being said, Tri-City is excited to partner with SELT for the Stonehouse Pond / Stonehouse Forest project in Barrington NH. SELT recently acquired 1,500 acres adjacent to the Pond that will ultimately all be unified into one very large parcel for conservation and recreational use. SELT is working with conservation specialists to identify areas and species in the forest to first and foremost protect. Once those sensitive areas are identified SELT will be working with the NH Fish & Game Department to expand available parking and outline a trail network throughout the property. Some older trails exist while others will need to be developed and marked.

Tri-City is looking forward to volunteer days with the SELT land management team, tasks will include removing invasive species, marking and maintaining trails, and cutting new trails as directed. This is a great relationship connecting Tri-City's "Subaru Loves the Earth" initiative with a big land conservation project that will be recreationally usable for the public to enjoy.

Tri-City Subaru Loves Learning

During the month of August Tri-City Subaru partnered with the Monarch School of New England in Rochester, NH for the "Pack An Outback" campaign to put into action Subaru of America's Corporate initiative of "Subaru Loves Learning".

During this event, our Tri-City Subaru dealership served as a drop off site for much needed school supplies all to benefit the local day school.

Our event received a great response as a large amount of school supplies were donated by Tri-City employees as well as several customers and members of the community. Everything from paper, notebooks, pencils, markers, scissors, glue, backpacks, and other various arts and craft materials were donated throughout the month. All together we nearly filled the back of a Subaru Outback with supplies for the students of Idlehurst Elementry School!
