Trim Levels
Rochester drivers can choose from nine trim levels for the Subaru Outback. They consist of:
- Base: Subaru multimedia with Apple CarPlay and Android integration, Raised roof rails with integrated cross bars and tie-down points, Standard EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.
- Premium: Safety and security Dual-zone climate control, 10-way power driver's seat, 8.7 inches of ground clearance.
- Onyx Edition: Dual-function X-Mode with Hill Descent Control, StarTex water-repellant upholstery, Keyless Access with push-button start can be found in the new Subaru Outback Onyx Edition.
- Limited: Leather-trimmed upholstery Harmon Kardon premium audio system, Hands free power rear gate.
- Touring: Power moonroof, DriverFocus distraction mitigation system, 11.6-inch multimedia navigation.
- Onyx Edition XT: 260-horsepower turbocharged Subaru Boxer engine, 18-inch black-finish alloy wheels, Dual-function X-Mode with Hill Descent Control, Keyless Access.
- Wilderness: Raised suspension with 9.5-inhes of ground clearance, Unique front and rear bumper with tow point integration and protected cladding, High-capacity fixed roof rails, 17-inch Matte black-finish wheels and all-terrain tires are all common features on the new Subaru Outback Wilderness.
- Limited XT: Heated steering wheel, Power moonroof, DriverFocus distraction mitigation system, Power moonroof.
- Touring XT: Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery, Power folding mirrors, 180-degree front-view monitor, Power-folding mirrors.
Exterior Design
The outside of the Subaru Outback offers striking details, including contrasting trim, chrome accents, and flowing lines to create a breathtaking design. Amongst the exterior highlights include standard raised roof rails with ties to stow camping bags, tents, and bikes for a weekend out near Barrington.
Further exterior features include LED headlights and fog lamps for superior illumination when driving at night. Plus, the new Outback offers up to 9.5 inches of ground clearance to navigate over obstacles.
Interior Design
Inside the Outback, all occupants can sit back and relax in optional Nappa leather upholstery and take advantage of cargo pockets in the back of the front seats. The front seats also feature heated and ventilated front seats so that you can stay warm or cool depending on the weather around Dover.
Along with passenger comfort, the Subaru Outback offers 32.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 75.6 cubic feet of space when the rear seats. With the available hands-free power rear gate, you can easily load up gear, groceries, and four-legged friends.
Performance
To propel on your long journey into nature, the Subaru Outback features an optional turbocharged Subaru Boxer engine delivering 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. In addition, it can achieve up to 32 miles per gallon on the highway and up to 590 miles in total driving distance. Further, the turbocharged powertrain allows you to tow upwards of 3,500 pounds of cargo.
The standard symmetrical all-wheel drive system features X-Mode, allowing you to customize the driving behavior based on current road conditions near Somersworth, NH. Plus, available hill descent control gives you extra stability when going down a hill or other decline.
Technology & Safety
For technology, the new Outback is outfitted with the Multimedia system with Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. You can access it through a 11.6-inch touchscreen, where you can enjoy your favorite apps and access navigation on the move. You can keep your smartphone charged with an available wireless charging pad.
All passengers can also charge their smart devices with available USB-C charging ports. Moreover, you can enjoy the expansive sound with the optional Harman Kardon® premium audio system.
To keep you and your passengers safe while on the roads near the Hilltop Fun Center, the new Subaru Outback features EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. This full suite of safety technologies works actively and passively to give you peace of mind while on your journey. Amongst the myriad safety systems, including pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, and available rear-cross traffic alert.
Moreover, optional reverse automatic braking brings you to a stop if it detects an object behind you. You can also stay connected to your Outback remotely through Safety and Security.
