Design Features
With the design, each Subaru Wilderness model offers a beefed-up exterior featuring protective cladding that keeps off-road obstacles from potentially damaging the vehicle. Further, the exterior offers a glare-reducing hood decal that keeps the sun out of your eyes when traversing obstacles. Further, the Subaru Wilderness adds extra spark to the exterior with matte black alloy wheels, trim, and Anodized copper fish accents.
Inside, the interior features durable, water-resistant StartTex upholstery that easily protects against the outdoor elements. After a full day outdoors, you don't have to worry about ruining your interior. Plus, the rear seats feature protective seatback material and can fold down to any seating arrangements for carrying passengers, pets, or cargo.
Performance Features
As with other Subaru models, the Subaru Wilderness features a standard symmetrical all-wheel drive to get you over terrain conditions. However, the Wilderness features the dual-function X-Mode that delivers the capability to go through treacherous deep snow and mud conditions. The turbocharged powertrain also features revised gear ratios for low-speed performance when climbing hills. To overcome obstacles, the Wilderness also features all-terrain tires and nine-plus inches of ground clearance.
